The casino in brief
Cascades Casino Chatham stands at 615 Richmond Street, in Chatham, part of the municipality of Chatham-Kent. It had its soft opening on July 18, 2019. This was Gateway's first casino built from the ground up, on what Gateway called a former vacant lot. It replaced the Dresden Slots at Dresden Raceway, which closed in July 2019, and the Dresden staff moved to Chatham.

A weekday morning
The doors open at 10 AM every day, and the slot machines run from the first minute. Until the live tables start, the slots are what runs on the floor. Monday to Thursday, the tables are running by 4 PM. From Friday to Sunday, they open at noon.
